I am an active member of the Nether Providence community. Currently, I serve on the Planning Commission and on the board of the Weston Village Condominium Community. In addition, I am an elected member of the Delaware County Democratic Committee, representing Nether Providence 6:2.
As a member of the Planning Commission I have been involved in drafting and reviewing ordinances that have improved storm water management practices, placed restrictions on cell towers, established protection for shade and street trees, as well as reviewed and made recommendations to the Board of Commissioners on many subdivision and land development plans. Through my volunteer efforts for our community I have had a firsthand look at the positive impact that planning and thoughtful use of resources brings to a community.
I have 39 years of business experience that includes making financial decisions, developing and streamlining business processes, and communicating with customers. I have a B.A. in Social Science from Rosemont College, with concentrations in Economics and Political Science. I am employed at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania where I manage the faculty payroll and scheduling process for the Division of Executive Education.
